Habitat One Windows is a business platform for Habitat One dealers. This statement explains which data the app and the portal process and why. The controller is Habitat One, Xàbia (Alicante), Spain.
Who can use it
The portal and the app are meant for dealers and staff of Habitat One. You log in with an account that Habitat One creates for you; there is no public sign-up.
Which data
Account data (name, email, phone, company and the dealer you belong to). Project data you enter yourself: customer name and contact details, address and delivery address, windows with sizes and options, quotations, orders and invoices. From the measuring tool: the measured sizes of windows and doors plus the photo the app takes at that moment. Technical data any website records: IP address, time and error messages, to limit abuse.
Camera and LiDAR
The app uses the camera and the LiDAR sensor only to measure windows and doors. The image is processed on the device. Only the crop of the frame that you confirm yourself is sent to your project together with the sizes. Nothing is filmed or stored without your approval, and no imagery goes to third parties.
Where the data lives
On servers inside the European Union: database and file storage in Ireland (Supabase, eu-west-1), the website runs on Vercel. Photos and documents sit in private storage; links to them are temporary and work only for signed-in users.
Artificial intelligence
To recognise how a frame is divided, a captured photo may be sent to Anthropic (Claude). That photo is used only to produce the answer and not to train models.
How long
Projects, quotations, orders and invoices are kept while the business relationship lasts and afterwards for as long as the law requires (in Spain usually six years for bookkeeping). Photos from the measuring tool belong to the project and disappear when the project is deleted.
Who we share with
With the factory, only the technical data needed to produce (sizes, drawings, colours) and without prices. With our suppliers for hosting, email and the recognition mentioned above, who process only on our behalf. We do not sell data and we do not build advertising profiles.
Cookies
We use functional cookies only: one to keep you signed in, and cookies for your language and light/dark mode. There are no tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data and object to processing. Send a message to hi@habitat-one.com; we reply within 30 days. You may also complain to the Spanish supervisory authority (AEPD).
Deleting your account
Request permanent deletion of your Windows account and associated personal data here. We process this within 30 days and confirm deletion by email. Records we are legally required to retain, such as invoices, are excluded. Delete account
